If you are a fairly new subscriber to the list, I'd like to notify you
about FreeForm3D Bspline modeler; a program that has already made many
Lightwave users modeling lives easier. FreeForm3D saves you time by allowing
you to model objects that might normally take a couple of days, in just
a few minutes. FreeForm3D is also the only program that can load in
Real3D2 Bspline objects, modify them to your liking, in their native
spline format, and then output them to Lightwave; giving you a whole new
source for pre-created objects. Please take a moment and read the list of
some of the features that FreeForm3D has to offer below; Try the demo, and
see why Professional animation houses as well as everyday 3D users from
the US, Europe and Japan, have all added FreeForm3D to their arsenal of 3D
graphics weaponry.
NEW PRODUCT Announcement AND UPDATE
FreeForm 3D Bspline modeler brings truly affordable, super-
fast Bspline modeling to your current 3D program rivaling
that of high end workstations. FreeForm can output to
Lightwave, Aladdin4D, Real3D2, Imagine and Caligari. (POV
and Rayshade are currently being added, as well as Renderman object
output, in spline format). FreeForm has real- time object and point
editing in all views; and a real-time, 3D space,
through the camera perspective view. In addition to the
standard 3D tools, FreeForm has tension adjustment to
Bsplines(giving NURB like control, something that other Bspline modelers
don't), deformations, rail extrusion, morph extrusion, cross sectional
skinning, automatic Bones creation, real-time Bones manipulation and
on-line help. FreeForm even gives Real3D2 users a faster,
easier to use Bspline environment, and up to a 20 times faster
grayscale preview curve rendering. FreeForm 1.8 is $70,
requires at least a 68020 with a FPU, and 1.2 megs of Ram.
Usable demo of V1.7 on Aminet ftp 128.252.135.4 in gfx/3D
, on the Lightwave ftp tomahawk.welch.jhu.edu pub/LW/utils
and on Compuserve. Cash, check or money order to:
